About

Welcome to Armide – a classic sailing yacht.

Builder: Chantier GRASSI (Marseille, France)
Naval architect: N/A
Type: Bermudian Schooner
Year build: 1938
COMMENTS: ARMIDE (ex LA BOUFFONNE) was built in France in 1938 at the
Chantier du Bas Fort at Nid Saint Georges in Marseille for Mr de Saint-Pierre.
In 1966 she has been bought by Mr M. & Mr G., then in 1990, by Mr Jean
P. who undertook at that time a complete refurbishment at Chantier du Pharo in Marseille.

ARMIDE is now part of the South of France maritime patrimony. She is a nice classic cruising
schooner. She regularly took part in events such as Les Voiles de St-Tropez where people
have been able to appreciate her performance and good looking abilities.

In January 2016 Armide (LG-7189) was sold to new owners from Luxembourg who decided to undertake again a complete refurbishment at Classic Works, La Ciotat.
